A Visit from Margot Lee Shetterly, author of “Hidden Stories”

…and we got to share some of our projects and loads of stories!

Mrs. Shetterly upsouces or as you might understand, recycles old knit projects for new.  The blanket on the table was made from 3 or 4 sweaters she bought on sale.  She unraveled and reknitted. The sweater that she’s wearing, she bought from a thrift shop.  She washed it, redyed it, and will unravel it to make a new item.  The dye job she gave the sweater was uneven because it gives the yarn a hand-dyed look.

Here’s 2 fingerless glove projects!

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and look forward to more!
